Richard Dick Turping.


NUMBER 1. Most infamous criminal of the Georgian era, know as the "Richard Dick Turpin".
However, better know as the "Highwayman", Dick Turpin was an English highwayman who was notorious for stealing watches, jewellery anything from innocent civilians at gun point. in Dick Tupin's early life he followed his fathers foot steps as a butcher hence his side name "poacher". After joining a gang of deer theives notorious "Gregory Gang" liked Dick Tupin's style. And later became the "poacher" burglar, horse theif and a killer.

Now you have some insight of the most infamous Georgian criminal the story of Dick Turpin's highway glory. Some infomation on his past gory life "Highwayman".

side note: a story that was made famous by the Victorian novelist William Harrison Ainsworth almost 100 years after Turpin's death.
